Scandic Resort A531

Was due to stay here for two weeks but with the building work going on & the place in disarray, left after one week. The staff are all lovely & helpful but I had wanted to relax not listen to jackhammers. They work from the hours 10-3,. Have stayed at Scandic many times and loved it, sadly this was disappointing

Pros: 1. Center of the tourist area.Many restaurants, ATM, Apotheke nearby. 2. nice view and nice swimming pool. I saw the gym but not sure everyone can use Cons: 1: many rooms are still under construction, therefore there is some noises 2 because the room is new, still some smell from the renovations left

Free cancellation request Others The room is not as described It was advertised as 1 single bed, 7 double beds for 5 adults (3 rooms) but he offer us 1 room with 3 single beds When talking with owner they refused to refund the room or change us to an appropriate room. The room smelt of bleach and paint and my wife has asthma and couldn’t breathe in the room. We ending up going back to Cairo as no other hotels have room as they need to book it in advance Don’t waste your money using this hotel

Day light robbery! They charged me €50 extra for extra room which I didn't need something I didn't ask for. Smell of the room un habitable, no Internet, noisy to a point could not sleep and worst of all when I complained there was an old man didn't speak English and the owner avoid answering. Don't be fooled by the pictures the reality isn't what you see.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. It is an unfinished hotel with a beach. Although I have never had a problem with the room itself, I do not like the overall condition of the hotel: broken doors, non-working elevators, etc. The beach is nice, but the water here is very cold. When you go to the beach nearby, the water is much warmer. The system for electricity and water usage is unusual. Once your credit runs out, you have to recharge it, but this can only be done starting from 10 a.m. Even then, it happened to us that the person responsible for recharging did not come to work.On the positive side, the location of the hotel is good — close to the city center, the marina, and shops.
